the clothworkers' north building, where the conference will take place

The conference will take place in the new home of the Institute of Communications’ Studies at the University of Leeds: the Clothworkers’ North Building.

Located at the very heart of the campus, the building houses ICS production and teaching facilities, as well as staff offices. Keynote speeches, parallel panels and refreshment breaks will all take place in the Clothworkers’ North Building.

From the station, walk up Park Row, cross The Headrow and continue up Cookridge Street. At the end of this road, join Woodhouse Lane, and continue north along the flyover over the inner ring road. Shortly after you will see the University’s big, white Parkinson Building on you left.

Finding the Clothworkers’ North Building
If you enter the campus through the arch just before the Parkinson Building, the Clothworkers’ North Building is the second red brick building on your right. The building is in the centre of the campus. Visit the How To Find Us section of the University of Leeds website for an interactive campus map.
